Nagasaki

If there is some mistakes in my sentence,please tell me. I want to correct and improve my English skill.

I came back my city called Nagasaki last week.
(Before I did it,I was in Taiwan and Philippines.)

I want to explain my city today.

Nagasaki is one of the famous Japanese city in the world.
Because Nagasaki was target of USA atomic bomb.

That's why some old peoples don't like USA.
I know some old people who has experienced in the war time.
If I ask some questions about it, they wouldn't talk it. I guess they don't want to remember the time.

Our generation isn't like them.We don't care if I like USA. Also I don't have much interest in history.

But we can't help knowing what happened before.
I have been taught about war,peace,atomic bomb,and anything involved war since I was in junior high school.
(This is very unusual in Japan. Just Nagasaki and Hiroshima prefecture.)
when I was in the time,I felt bored. Because we learned same thing every months.

And now I am interested in the history or my city called Nagasaki.
Because when I was in other countries,I knew some histories between Japan and other countries.

So I am reading barefoot gen now. This book is written about the story of the bombing of Hiroshima.
I have read the book written in Japanese,when I was elementary.
So I want to read now. I am thinking how I feel about it now.
I'll see another world. After I read, Ill write about it in this blog.
